Anti-GDH1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target GDH1 is a known alias name of the protein glutamate dehydrogenase 1, encoded by the GLUD1 gene in humans. This 558-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in metabolic processes, among other biological processes. It is localized to the mitochondria and ER of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for GDH1 include GDH and GLUD. Some GDH1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for these antibodies.
