Anti-NBC2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the NBC2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SLC4A7 gene, which encodes solute carrier family 4 member 7. This protein is known to function in transmembrane transport, among other biological roles. The human version of NBC2 has a canonical amino acid length of 1214 residues and a protein mass of 136 kilodaltons, although 14 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the testis, small intestine, skin, kidney, and duodenum. NBC2 is a member of the Anion exchanger (TC 2.A.31) protein family. Indicated applications for NBC2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
