Anti-GST3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the GST3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CHST4 gene, which encodes carbohydrate sulfotransferase 4. This protein is known to function in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis and cell adhesion, among other biological roles. The human version of GST3 has a canonical amino acid length of 386 residues and a protein mass of 45.1 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi of cells and notably expressed in the gallbladder. GST3 is a member of the Sulfotransferase 1 protein family.
