Anti-CLC5 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CLC5 antigen is another term for the human protein chloride voltage-gated channel 5, encoded by the CLCN5 gene. The protein is known to function in endocytosis, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 816 residues and a mass of 90.8 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the Golgi and cell membrane. The CLC5 protein is a member of the Chloride channel (TC 2.A.49) protein family. Other alias names for CLC5 include CLCK2 and ClC-5. Indicated applications for CLC5 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
