This target is a reported synonym of the MAGI3 gene, which encodes membrane associated guanylate kinase, WW and PDZ domain containing 3. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and intracellular signal transduction, among other biological roles. The human version of MAGI-3 has a canonical amino acid length of 1481 residues and a protein mass of 162.9 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified.
