Anti-TRAPG antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TRAPG antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SSR3 gene, which encodes signal sequence receptor subunit 3. The human version of TRAPG has a canonical amino acid length of 185 residues and a protein mass of 21.1 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. TRAPG is a member of the TRAP-gamma protein family.
