Anti-SUG2 antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene PSMC6, or 'proteasome 26S subunit, ATPase 6' in humans. The 389-amino acid protein is a member of the AAA ATPase family. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic and nuclear.
