Anti-LIN1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target LIN1 is a known alias name of the protein CD2 cytoplasmic tail binding protein 2, encoded by the CD2BP2 gene in humans. This 341-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in pre-mRNA splicing as component of the U5 snRNP complex that is involved in spliceosome assembly. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for LIN1 include FWP010 and PPP1R59. Western Blot is the most common application for the LIN1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
