Anti-CTR2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CTR2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SLC31A2 gene, which encodes solute carrier family 31 member 2. This protein is known to function in the transport of ions, among other biological roles. The human version of CTR2 has a canonical amino acid length of 143 residues and a protein mass of 15.7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles, lysosomes, and membrane of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include COPT2 and hCTR2. Indicated applications for CTR2 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
