Anti-PASS1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PASS1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the HSPBAP1 gene, which encodes HSPB1 associated protein 1. This protein is believed to play a role in cellular stress response. The human version of PASS1 has a canonical amino acid length of 488 residues and a protein mass of 55.2 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types.
