Anti-NGP1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NGP1 is a known alias name of the protein G protein nucleolar 2, encoded by the GNL2 gene in humans. This 731-amino acid residue protein is a reported GTPase that associates with pre-60S ribosomal subunits in the nucleolus and is required for their nuclear export and maturation. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is found to be widely expressed, with the highest expression level in testis. Other synonyms for NGP1 include HUMAUANTIG and Ngp-1. Indicated applications for NGP1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
