Anti-CD218b antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CD218b is a known alias name of the protein interleukin 18 receptor accessory protein, encoded by the IL18RAP gene in humans. This 599-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cell proliferation and immune response pathways, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features N-glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the tonsil, spleen, lymph node, and bone marrow. Other synonyms for CD218b include ACPL and CDw218b. Western Blot is the most common application for the CD218b antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
