Anti-ADTAA antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ADTAA is a known alias name of the protein adaptor related protein complex 2 subunit alpha 1, encoded by the AP2A1 gene in humans. This 977-amino acid residue protein is a known component of the adaptor protein complex 2 (AP-2). It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the brain. The term AP2-ALPHA is another synonym for ADTAA. Western Blot is the most common application for the ADTAA antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
