Anti-5-HT2B antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene HTR2B, or '5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 2B' in humans. The 481-amino acid protein is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. The cellular localization is predicted to be membrane-associated. Glycosylation sites have been reported.
