Anti-ARA24 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ARA24 is a known alias name of the protein RAN, member RAS oncogene family, encoded by the RAN gene in humans. This 216-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cytoskeleton organization and cell division, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features acetylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in a variety of tissues. The term Gsp1 is another synonym for ARA24.
