Anti-APG2 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The APG2 antigen is another term for the human protein heat shock protein family A (Hsp70) member 4, encoded by the HSPA4 gene. The protein is known to function in protein folding, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 840 residues and a mass of 94.3 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. The APG2 protein is a member of the Heat shock protein 70 protein family.
