Anti-CAP37 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CAP37 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the AZU1 gene, which encodes azurocidin 1. This protein is known to function in viral immune response and inflammatory response pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of CAP37 has a canonical amino acid length of 251 residues and a protein mass of 26.9 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the membrane and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the testis, spleen, lymph node, bone marrow, and appendix. Other names for this target antigen include AZAMP and AZU. Indicated applications for CAP37 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
