Anti-Aminopeptidase N antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Aminopeptidase N antigen is another term for the human protein alanyl aminopeptidase, membrane, encoded by the ANPEP gene. The protein is known to function in angiogenesis and cell differentiation, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 967 residues and a mass of 109.5 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and colon. The Aminopeptidase N protein is a member of the Peptidase M1 protein family. Other alias names for Aminopeptidase N include AP-M, AP-N, and APN. Flow Cytometry is the most common application for the Aminopeptidase N antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
