Anti-HIG2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HIG2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the HILPDA gene, which encodes hypoxia inducible lipid droplet associated. This protein is known to function in the cellular response to hypoxia and the regulation of cell proliferation, among other biological roles. The human version of HIG2 has a canonical amino acid length of 63 residues and a protein mass of 7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be a secreted protein that is widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include C7orf68 and HIG-2. Indicated applications for HIG2 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
