SNAP 29, or Synaptosome associated protein 29kDa, is a human gene encoded by SNAP29. It may also be known as: Synaptosomal-associated protein 29; Soluble 29 kDa NSF attachment protein; Vesicle-membrane fusion protein SNAP-29; SNAP-29; CEDNIK; synaptosomal-associated protein, 29kDa. The encoded protein has an amino acid length of 258 and a mass of 29.0 kDa. Other isoforms may exist. SNAP 29 is a member of the SNAP-25 family. Homologs of this gene exist in other organisms, including: Fly, Mouse, Rat, Arabidopsis, Zebrafish, Frog, Chicken.
