Anti-SCARA3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein scavenger receptor class A member 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 606 amino acid residues and a mass of 65.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER and Golgi. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. SCARA3 is known to be involved with the response to oxidative stress. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include CSR, CSR1, MSLR1, MSRL1, cellular stress response gene protein, and APC7. SCARA3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some SCARA3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
