Anti-CDKN3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cyclin dependent kinase inhibitor 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 212 amino acid residues and a mass of 23.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Protein-tyrosine phosphatase protein family, CDKN3 is believed to play a role in cell cycle regulation. The CDKN3 gene has been associated with the disease, Hepatocellular carcinoma. Synonyms for this target antigen include CIP2, KAP, KAP1, CDK2-associated dual specificity phosphatase, Cdk-associated protein phosphatase, and CDI1. CDKN3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some CDKN3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
