Anti-RAB22A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein RAB22A, member RAS oncogene family. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 194 amino acid residues and a mass of 21.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasmic vesicles and cell membrane. A member of a the Rab protein family, RAB22A is reported to play a role in in endocytosis and intracellular protein transport. Synonyms for this target antigen include GTP-binding protein RAB22A, rab-22, and ras-related protein Rab-22A.
