Anti-DNAJB5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein DnaJ heat shock protein family (Hsp40) member B5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 348 amino acid residues and a mass of 39.1 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. Synonyms for this target antigen include dnaJ homolog subfamily B member 5, DnaJ (Hsp40) homolog, subfamily B, member 5, heat shock cognate 40, heat shock protein Hsp40-2, heat shock protein Hsp40-3, and Hsc40. DNAJB5 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the DNAJB5 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
