Anti-HOXB9 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein homeobox B9. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 250 amino acid residues and a mass of 28.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. A member of the Abd-B homeobox protein family, HOXB9 is known to be involved with the regulation of transcription. Synonyms for this target antigen include HOX-2.5 and HOX2. HOXB9 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of HOXB9 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
