Anti-Ring finger protein 4 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene RNF4 in humans. The gene may also be known as SLX5, RES4-26, SNURF, E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase RNF4, and E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF4. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 21.3 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
