Anti-RAB11B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein RAB11B, member RAS oncogene family. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 218 amino acid residues and a mass of 24.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasmic vesicles. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 2 different isoforms for this protein. A member of the Rab protein family, it is known to be involved with carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include NDAGSCW, ras-related protein Rab-11B, GTP-binding protein YPT3, RAB11B, member of RAS oncogene family, and H-YPT3.
