Anti-TMEM142A antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TMEM142A antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ORAI1 gene, which encodes ORAI calcium release-activated calcium modulator 1. This protein is known to function in adaptive immune responses and the transport of ions, among other biological roles. The human version of TMEM142A has a canonical amino acid length of 301 residues and a protein mass of 32.7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the skin and testis. TMEM142A is a member of the Orai protein family. Western Blot is the most common application for the TMEM142A antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
