Anti-TPGS2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein tubulin polyglutamylase complex subunit 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 300 amino acid residues and a mass of 33.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. TPGS2 is a known subunit of the tubulin polyglutamylase complex (TPGC). Synonyms for this target antigen include HMFN0601, L17, PGs2, polyglutamylase subunit 2, and C18orf10. TPGS2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the TPGS2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
