Anti-PI3KC2A antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PI3KC2A is a known alias name of the protein phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate 3-kinase catalytic subunit type 2 alpha, encoded by the PIK3C2A gene in humans. This 1686-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cell migration and endocytosis, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane, nucleus, cytoplasmic vesicles, Golgi, and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in columnar and transitional epithelia, mononuclear cells, smooth muscle cells, and endothelial cells lining capillaries and small venules. Other synonyms for PI3KC2A include CPK, OCSKD, and PI3-K-C2(ALPHA). Indicated applications for PI3KC2A antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
