Anti-ORP4 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ORP4 is a known alias name of the protein oxysterol binding protein 2, encoded by the OSBP2 gene in humans. This 916-amino acid residue protein is known to bind 7-ketocholesterol. It is localized to the membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in retina, testis, and fetal liver. Other synonyms for ORP4 include HLM, HLM, and ORP-4. Indicated applications for ORP4 antibodies listed below include ELISA.
