Anti-NPRA antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The NPRA antigen is another term for the human protein natriuretic peptide receptor 1, encoded by the NPR1 gene. The protein is a known receptor for the atrial natriuretic peptide NPPA/ANP and the brain natriuretic peptide NPPB/BNP which are potent vasoactive hormones playing a key role in cardiovascular homeostasis. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1061 residues and a mass of 118.9 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. The NPRA protein is a member of the Adenylyl cyclase class-4/guanylyl cyclase protein family. Other alias names for NPRA include ANPRA, ANPa, and GUC2A. Indicated applications for NPRA antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
