Anti-LOX1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the LOX1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the OLR1 gene, which encodes oxidized low density lipoprotein receptor 1. This protein is known to function in inflammatory response pathways and proteolysis, among other biological roles. The human version of LOX1 has a canonical amino acid length of 273 residues and a protein mass of 31 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and is secreted of cells. Other names for this target antigen include CLEC8A and CLEC8A. Western Blot is the most common application for the LOX1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
