Anti-IGFR3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target IGFR3 is a known alias name of the protein Fc gamma receptor IIIa, encoded by the FCGR3A gene in humans. This 254-amino acid residue protein is a known receptor for the invariable Fc fragment of immunoglobulin gamma (IgG). It is localized to the cell membrane and is secreted of the cell and features glycosylated, cleaved and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in natural killer cells. Other synonyms for IGFR3 include CD16, CD16-II, and CD16A. These IGFR3 antibodies are widely used in Flow Cytometry experiments, among other applications.
