Anti-GABABR2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target GABABR2 is a known alias name of the protein gamma-aminobutyric acid type B receptor subunit 2, encoded by the GABBR2 gene in humans. This 941-amino acid residue protein is a known component of the heterodimeric G-protein coupled receptor for GABA, formed by GABBR1 and GABBR2. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the rectum, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and caudate. Other synonyms for GABABR2 include DEE59 and EIEE59. Western Blot is the most common application for the GABABR2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
