Anti-DMP4 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target DMP4 is a known alias name of the protein FAM20C golgi associated secretory pathway kinase, encoded by the FAM20C gene in humans. This 584-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the differentiation of certain cell types, among other biological processes. It is localized to the ER, Golgi, and is secreted of the cell and features N-glycosylated, cleaved and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types.
