Anti-X11alpha antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The X11alpha antigen is another term for the human protein amyloid beta precursor protein binding family A member 1, encoded by the APBA1 gene. The protein is believed to be a function in synaptic vesicle exocytosis by binding to Munc18-1, an essential component of the synaptic vesicle exocytotic machinery. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 837 residues and a mass of 92.9 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Other alias names for X11alpha include D9S411E, LIN10, and MINT1. Western Blot is a widely used application for the X11alpha antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
