Anti-Ubc2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Ubc2 is a known alias name of the protein ubiquitin conjugating enzyme E2 A, encoded by the UBE2A gene in humans. This 152-amino acid residue protein is known to accept ubiquitin from the E1 complex and catalyzes its covalent attachment to other proteins.
