Anti-TAPP1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TAPP1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PLEKHA1 gene, which encodes pleckstrin homology domain containing A1. This protein is known to function in Leydig cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of TAPP1 has a canonical amino acid length of 404 residues and a protein mass of 45.6 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types.
