Anti-SVCT2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SVCT2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SLC23A2 gene, which encodes solute carrier family 23 member 2. This protein is known to function in the response to oxidative stress, among other biological roles. The human version of SVCT2 has a canonical amino acid length of 650 residues and a protein mass of 70.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bronchus, urinary bladder, and appendix. Other names for this target antigen include NBTL1 and SLC23A1. Indicated applications for SVCT2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
