Anti-SPBP antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SPBP is a known alias name of the protein transcription factor 20, encoded by the TCF20 gene in humans. This 1960-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a transcriptional activator that binds to the regulatory region of MMP3 and thereby controls stromelysin expression. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in most tissues, except in ovary and prostate. Other synonyms for SPBP include AR1, AR1, and DDVIBA. Indicated applications for SPBP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
