Anti-PLRP2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PLRP2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PNLIPRP2 gene, which encodes pancreatic lipase related protein 2 (gene/pseudogene). This protein is known to function in the metabolism of lipids, among other biological roles. The human version of PLRP2 has a canonical amino acid length of 469 residues and a protein mass of 52 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the membrane and is secreted of cells. This target antigen may also be known as pancreatic lipase-related protein 2.
