Anti-ODCp antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The ODCp antigen is another term for the human protein antizyme inhibitor 2, encoded by the AZIN2 gene. The protein is known to function in spermatogenesis, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 460 residues and a mass of 50 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus, cytoplasmic vesicles, ER, Golgi, and cytoplasm and it is reported to be expressed in the neocortex, thalamus, hippocampus, cerebellum, medulla oblongata, gray and white matter. The ODCp protein is a member of the Orn/Lys/Arg decarboxylase class-II protein family. Indicated applications for ODCp antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
