Anti-NC2alpha antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NC2alpha is a known alias name of the protein DR1 associated protein 1, encoded by the DRAP1 gene in humans. This 205-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in transcription by RNA polymerase II, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The term NC2-alpha is another synonym for NC2alpha.
