Anti-LPAAT-beta antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target LPAAT-beta is a known alias name of the protein 1-acylglycerol-3-phosphate O-acyltransferase 2, encoded by the AGPAT2 gene in humans. This 278-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in epidermis development and the metabolism of lipids, among other biological processes. It is localized to the ER of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in adipose tissue, pancreas and liver. Other synonyms for LPAAT-beta include 1-AGPAT2, BSCL, and BSCL1. Indicated applications for LPAAT-beta antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
