Anti-CASPR4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CASPR4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CNTNAP4 gene, which encodes contactin associated protein family member 4. This protein is known to function in cell adhesion, among other biological roles. The human version of CASPR4 has a canonical amino acid length of 1308 residues and a protein mass of 145.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the cerebral cortex and hippocampus. CASPR4 is a member of the Neurexin protein family. Indicated applications for CASPR4 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
