Anti-AdoMetDC antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The AdoMetDC antigen is another term for the human protein adenosylmethionine decarboxylase 1, encoded by the AMD1 gene. The protein is known to be important for biosynthesis of the polyamines spermidine and spermine. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 334 residues and a mass of 38.3 kilodaltons. It is expressed in many tissues, such as the caudate, thyroid gland, and adrenal gland. The AdoMetDC protein is a member of the Eukaryotic AdoMetDC protein family. Other alias names for AdoMetDC include AMD. Indicated applications for AdoMetDC antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
