Anti-ACAM antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ACAM antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CLMP gene, which encodes CXADR like membrane protein. This protein is suspected to be involved in the cell-cell adhesion. The human version of ACAM has a canonical amino acid length of 373 residues and a protein mass of 41.3 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for ACAM antibodies.
