Anti-PRDC antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PRDC is a known alias name of the protein gremlin 2, DAN family BMP antagonist, encoded by the GREM2 gene in humans. This 168-amino acid residue protein is a reported cytokine that inhibits the activity of BMP2 and BMP4 in a dose-dependent manner, and thereby modulates signaling by BMP family members. The protein is secreted and features N-glycosylated post-translational modifications.
