Anti-Transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily A member 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene TRPA1 in humans. The gene may also be known as ANKTM1, FEPS, FEPS1, ankyrin-like with transmembrane domains 1, and transformation-sensitive protein p120. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 127.5 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
